Service Description

Beltane Harp Journey Life is in abundance. The ground is warming up for the start of summer. We will take this harp journey outside (weather dependent) and celebrate will be the theme. Expect dancing. ‘Long ago on our celtic isle, harpers were revered healers, their music able to evoke and move you through states of emotion’ Alice Wonder is a local harp composer and nature practitioner. She creates magical, soul inspiring compositions of live harp and spoken word to take you on a journey through your imagination. Each journey is inspired by the wheel of the year. During a harp journey you will be invited to lay down, close your eyes and go into your imagination as you listen to the mesmerising sounds of the harp and let it lift you ‘away’. Each session intends to leave you feeling inspired, relaxed and refreshed. Like the spring has washed over you. After the success of our ‘Imbolc’ harp journey, these next 2 journeys (Ostara and Beltane) will be longer and designed to lead from one to the other and there’s a huge benefit from booking multiple journeys. Spaces are limited so please book both if you can come to both. The Use of Tea - During this journey we will also call on the magic of the herbs and will enjoy a tea of local, seasonal plants. You will learn how the plants can support your life and deepen your journey. Learning - Everyone is welcome, even if you have never heard of anything of the above. Alice is down to earth and friendly and loves to hear and share ideas and knowledge about our connections to this land, ourselves, plants, folklore and music. After the session there will be space for connection, converstaion, celebration and sharing. And more herb tea and refreshments. Things to Consider - For each journey you will be lying or sitting (which ever you choose)for an extended period so please bring yoga or camping mats (if you have one), warm clothes or sleeping bags, warm socks or slippers. The session will last for 2 hours - you're also welcome to stay for an additional half hour If you have any special requirements (i.e mobility issues, hearing or vision impairments), please get in touch with me before booking so I can make sure we have anything that may be needed.
